It is impossible to forget a dog that gave you so much to remember.
Buddy was homeless, and for almost a week he hung out near a playground, waiting for neighborhood children to return to the park to play with him. He was taken to the local Humane Society and was put up for adoption on Petfinder, where Christie noticed him. Buddy was adopted and began his new life with Christie, Scott, and their family.
Christie and Buddy became a registered therapy team with Pet Partners in 2013. They began going on therapy visits, staying very busy volunteering at care centers, hospitals, schools, and universities. They also attended many special events, where Christie spoke about the benefits of pet therapy. Buddy went on over 350 therapy visits and spread joy and comfort to over 3000 people before he retired in 2017.
